Nutritionist Kristen Beck (M.Hum.Nut., B.H.Sc.)

Registered Nutritionist Kristen Beck, 48, developed and launched Beck Health & Nutrition’s first distance nutrition course in 2003. Kristen is an experienced and highly sought-after media commentator in the Australian media (television, radio, magazines and national news media). She regularly appears on TV including Channel 7 Sunrise and has previously appeared on Channel 9 Today, A Current Affair and Channel 10 The Project. She is passionate about understanding and communicating the latest health and nutrition research with a practical approach to healthy eating. Kristen has been a nutrition and sports science lecturer at International College of Management Sydney (ICMS) for more than 20 years. She is also a committee member of the Sydney branch of the Nutrition Society of Australia.

Kristen is an independent nutritionist. Her advice is based on unbiased, objective, scientifically-validated research and high-quality nutritional research. Her focus is on common-sense, practical, food-based application of nutrition science. She is also the mum of three young adults and lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. When she isn’t working, studying or being a mum, you’ll find her soft-sand running, surfing or happily watching the ocean.
